Clinical Supervision provides an opportunity for both supervisor and supervisee to:
>> Forge a working alliance
>> Establish teaching and learning styles
>> Grow self-awareness
>> Develop skills and intervention
>> Create a professional practice in a safe and regulated environment

I have many years' experience as a Clinical Supervisor, and I feel that my training and philosophy allow me to forge a strong working alliance, allowing the unfolding of possibilities in a dynamic and actualising way.

My view is that supervisors are primarily facilitators of reflection, who allow, encourage and support supervisees to come to their own realisations and to learn from their own experiences, in their own learning style – the supervisor is not pushing them in any direction or enforcing any particular teaching on them.

Having a range of different models of supervision available within my philosophy has, I believe, helped me to be a more effective supervisor and to continue to grow in what I can offer to my supervisees. This in turn will, I hope, help them to give their clients as comprehensive and beneficial a service as possible, which is the most important consideration.

If you are a practitioner seeking a Clinical Supervisor and you feel that I can help, then please get in touch.
